Cancellation & Makeup Class Policy

At Storm Chaser Stables, we believe in a commitment to learning. Our cancellation, make-up, and payment policy is designed to ensure the safety of our participants and equine partners while promoting consistency, communication, and financial sustainability.

🌦 Class Schedule: Classes are held weekly in a variety of weather conditions. This flexibility allows participants to engage in a wide range of activities, including riding, groundwork, unmounted horsemanship, hippology, and theory.

⚠️ Cancellation Criteria: Classes will only be canceled in the event of instructor illness or extreme weather that compromises safety. You will be notified via text message in the event of a cancellation.

🔁 Make-Up Classes:
  • If an instructor cancels, a make-up class will be arranged within the same month, when possible.
  • If a student cancels, a make-up class may be scheduled with advance notice and is subject to instructor availability.
  • Two consecutive absences without communication will result in forfeiture of the student’s class registration.

💸 Late Payments: Effective July 1, 2025, tuition is due by the 1st of each month.
  • A 5-day grace period is offered.
  • After the 5th, a $15 late fee will be applied.
  • If payment is not received by the 15th, lessons will be paused until the account is brought current.
  • Chronic late payments may result in the loss of the student’s reserved spot and disenrollment from the program.

🔚 Student Withdrawal: If a student wishes to withdraw from their registered class, two weeks' written notice is required. Tuition billed due to lack of proper withdrawal notice is still due.

By adhering to these policies, we foster a learning environment that values safety, responsibility, and the continued care of our horses. Your support helps us ensure a consistent and meaningful experience for all!
